POLIN, debuting with VIHARI is very impressed by the music of the film composed by BHARADWAJ. the movie is being produced by Prabhakar G and Mahesh G and directed by TULSI KUMAR. In fact she liked the music so mush so that she says, “Bharadwaj has come up with some awesome tunes for this film and I am sure it will be a musical hit. In fact, I’ve learnt more Telugu tuning into the music of the film than while working on the sets of the film”. She is paired opposite MITHUN. “This is my first TOLLYWOOD movie, and am pinning my hopes on it,” she adds.

VEDIKA, the sizzling young lass of MUNI is scared of ghosts even at this grown up age. Because early to bed and early to rise seems to be the mantra of this beautiful actress. You all must be thinking that she got the inspiration from Muni’s leading man Lawrence… But she recollects, “My parents used to tell me ghost stories at bedtime. I have been afraid of the dark ever since. I know it sounds silly, but can’t help it. So I try my best to wrap up all my commitments during the day.”

NEHA JULKA made her Tollywood debut with OKKADUNNADU. She failed to impress Telugu audiences with her beauty. But where she faltered, she is making up with her linguistic skills… Yeah! Some of us might get attracted if the girl has brains rather than just beauty and light in the head department. Neha Julka says, “I love poetry. There’s rhythm in every language. If you can understand that rhythm, then you can catch words from even alien languages. In spite of not knowing a language, one can make out the meaning. That way I have learnt so many words. When I use them in my conversations, it surprises my friends.”

BALA KRISHNA is all set to embark on a new journey after failing to entice the TOLLYWOOD audience with his romance with multiple heroines in a feeble attempt to live up to his name. He has tasted bitterness in recent times with all of his films after NARASIMHA NAIDU (Veera Bhadra, Allari Pidugu, Vijayendra Varma, Maharathi Etc.,) bombing and falling on the sidelines like a pack of cards… He is proving to be a huge risk for the producers. So he seems to get some of his common sense back and is embarking on a new journey to entertain us with a mythological film. “I am ready to play suitable mythological roles. My father’s acting in PANDURANGA MAHATYAM had left an indelible impression on me. I have always looked forward to playing a similar role some day. I think it’s the right time to play such roles,” says Bala Krishna. He is currently working on a mythological film tentatively titled RANGA PANDU RANGA reportedly being directed by Raghavendra Rao.

ANUSHKA is a heroine who never got her due though she delivered some of the few successful films that TOLLYWOOD is delivering itself. But times are changing… As top heroines like NAYANATARA are hiking their remuneration, Anushka is getting busy as producers feel she is a glamorous heroine with talent that can be nurtured. She currently has three films in her kitty, and the buzz in tinsel town is that she is going to be signed for DASARATH’s next film with JAGAPATHI BABU in lead. I wish that ANUSHKA would grab this golden opportunity and deliver commendable performances which would make her one among the top heroines…

SNEHA is a girl whose love life would break many hearts. But the damsel who is universally liked for her charming homely looks is head over heels in love… and is finding it difficult to keep her mind focussed on work. However, all is not lost yet and ardent TOLLYWOOD and KOLLYWOOD fans can take heart from the fact that her love interest is her five year old nephew, NITIN. “I am very attached to my nephew. He is the love of my life and the sweetest kid in the whole world. Watching kids grow is an overwhelming experience and there is nothing I enjoy more than playing around with him. Even when I am away on the phone, we really share a special bod,” says SNEHA.

SANDHYA, who shot to fame with PREMISTHE has done a direct movie in Telugu film industry with ANNAVARAM. The film as you all already know did below average. So when the going gets tough even in the Tamil film industry, SANDHYA all of a sudden is singing different tunes… She wants to take a partial study sabbatical. “I had to discontinue my studies after class ten as movies happened. I miss being a student and am very keen on continuing my education. I am planning to enroll myself in a correspondence course to balance my professional commitments with my studies,” says SANDHYA.

NAYANATARA is quite impressed and says that, “SREENU VAITLA has an amazing sense of humour. He will have you laughing your guts out. Perhaps that’s why he handles comedy so well. At the moment, I am working for him in DUBAI SREENU, opposite RAVI TEJA. And I am sure this rib tickling comedy will be loved by people.” The film is being produced by Bhagawan and Daanaiah.

POLIN, who is paired opposite MITHUN is making her TOLLYWOOD debut with the film VIHARI. She recently had a shoot in Switzerland for two songs and had a first hand experience of Indian movie syllabus which has a customary song in foreign locales… She shares her experience… “We were in Switzerland to shoot for two songs for VIHARI in which I am being paired opposite MITHUN. Since I am basically a western dance performer, learning the balle balles was hard. But the crew was so great about it, even helping me out tremendously! I am sure this skill will go a long way in shaping my career too!”

MEENA is one of the most gifted actresses with natural talent in acting in abundance. She started off as a child artiste and went on to rule the southern film industry including TOLLYWOOD and Tamil film industry alike. She stunned me in SEETHA RAMAYYA GARI MANAVARALU with her fabulous performance even though it was just her debut as a leading lady. Now she is out of the tinsel town for a long time and is busy with the Television. But it seems she is also doing some films. So when asked if she is going to remain SINGLE for a long time, “Oh, no. I am looking for the right guy. When I find him, I’ll let you folks know,” smiles Meena. So any eligible bachelors, prepare to impress her…
