PAWAN KALYAN launched the audio of VIKRAM and TRISHA starer Bi-lingual BHEEMA being directed by LINGU SWAMY. Audio launch function was organized at Screen 2 of Prasads Multiplex in the evening of 29th October.

Speaking on the occasion, presenter A M Ratnam said, “Its been one year since we launched this film. I would like to thank Vikram for his sincere support. He built body and made changes to hair for this film. Lingu Swamy did well. The songs of the film came out really well. I would like to thank Pawan Kalyan for attending this function.” Director Linguswamy said, “The Tamil songs of this film became chartbusters. I am sure that these songs will be liked in Telugu too. I hope that this film would become a hit like my earlier films Run and Pandemkodi.”

Hero Vikram said, “I would like to thank Pawan Kalyan for gracing this occasion. I became a fan of Pawan Kalyan after watching Toli Prema film. I worked really hard for this film. Shireen who acted as heroine in many films did an item song in this film. Lingu Swamy is a good friend of mine. There is style in the story of this film. Harris Jayaraj gave good melodies.”

Pawan Kalyan wished everyone success.

HAPPY DAYS celebrated 30 days run in PARK theater in FREEMONT of USA. Debutant VARUN SANDESH was present with his family in the celebrations. Every one that was present in the theater and especially enjoyed the celebration. I wish the HAPPY DAYS team many more achievements along their journey to glory…

DUBBING time again. SURYA and ASIN are back together after their combination shook Tamil and Telugu as well with GAJINI. The new film is titled VEL in Tamil and DEVA in Telugu. The movie is being directed by HARI and is being dubbed in to Telugu by K V V Satyanarayana and Sakhamuri Pandurangarao in the Banner of Aiswarya Art Creations. Producers say, “We will release the film simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages as a Diwali gift.”

The story seems to be again on the heavier side. Surya is playing dual roles in the movie while Asin too has an excellent scope for performance. Music is composed by YUVAN SANKAR RAJA. The plans are afoot to launch the audio on November 1 through ADITYA MUSIC. The rest of the cast include NAZAR, VADIVELU, KALA BHAVAN MANI, LAKSHMI, SARANYA and others. Dialogues are by SHASHANK and VENNELAKANTI. Lyrics are by VETURI, BHUVANACHANDRA, CHANDRA BOSE, VENNELAKANTI and VANAMALI.

SURENDER REDDY just recently claimed that he is very calculated and statistical when it comes to film making. Surender Reddy says, “I discuss story line with the producer and then explain the depth of each scene and the amount of films that has to be used for that. We go ahead only when the producer says yes”.

This calculated Surender Reddy also says, “I want to make a Hindi film shortly. Actually I was given a chance to direct the Hindi version of Athanokkadey. But due to dates problems I couldn’t do that. I wish to get into Hindi production very soon. There are many ideas for me to produce films”.

I just have one small doubt. If Surender Reddy is as calculated and precise as he says, then… Why the hell did he lose his calculator while filming FLOPBUSTER ATHIDHI? I think U already know that the film is almost an unbearable 3 hours in length and was trimmed by more than 10 minutes of the CRAP… so that the audience’s suffering subsides to an extent. Anyway, as he is done with ruining the parties of NTR and MAHESH BABU with ASHOK and ATHIDHI respectively, he is focusing on BECHARA BOLLYWOOD. —KALCHA

VENKATESH is a cricket enthusiast since long… He loves the game so much so that he never misses an opportunity to watch a live game in the stadium if possible. So a cricket oriented film is only logical, isn’t it? So for all the cricket enthusiasts out there… he is now ready to make a film with cricket as the main theme. It seems that Suresh Babu has a script already with him and I hope the film will be made some time soon.

MANI SHARMA is certainly one of the HIT makers of the Telugu film industry. And he has been hugely instrumental in the success of CHIRUTHAs AUDIO. So, has it been all glory and praise for MANI? Well, industry insiders beg to differ on the issue. In fact if we were to believe them, Mani has been humiliated by the CHOREOGRAPHER - DIRECTOR - MUSIC DIRECTOR… LAWRENCE.

Though Mani is not keen on disclosing his name, he says he is the one who had choreographed the first song in Chirutha. According to Mani, the choreographer was the only one to say NO to the song, despite the producer, director and hero liking it. As per the CHOREOGRAPHER, it was not a song fit enough for the debut of Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan. However, popular opinion prevailed and it was Mani’s version that was shot finally. An obviously irritated Mani Sharma feels that in a creative field, it is very important for each person to stick to his or her role, instead of meddling with other technician’s work.

I would say, it is better for any technician or artist to do what ever his/her JOB DESCRIPTION states. As far as LAWRENCEs MUSIC SKILLS are concerned, he already BORED US TO DEATH with his crap music in VAJROTSAVAM. So, it only makes sense for him to just stick to his domain of expertise… But let’s see if he surprises us with lilting music in DON… —KALCHA

NTR is enacting KANTRI and started dancing on 24th, October. The film has started regular shoot and a song with a troupe of dancers is being shot on location at Aluminium factory in Hyderabad.

The film is being Produced by Aswinidutt in his own banner Vyjayanthi Movies. A new director MEHER RAMESH is working for this movie. Meher Ramesh is new to Telugu but not to Films. He directed 2 Films in Kannada. The film has music by Mani Sharma and stars Hansika Motwani in the lead role.

KEERTHI CHAWLA was the female lead of AADI. She hit jackpot with that movie. But has she continued on? Well, she did a few forgettable roles and now she laments, “If I were with good height, I would have got better roles to play and I used to be in top slot as an actress. It’s because of my height I am trailing behind”.

So according to her, it is her height that is holding her back from becoming one of the leading ladies of Tollywood. What do U think guys/gals? As for me, I don’t think she would have made it to the top even if she were to be say, 5 ft. 8 in. Just think about it… Most of the heroes that Tollywood has today are just around 5 ft. 5 in. And then what about her weight Guys/Gals? In fact she was just lucky that she landed in that blockbuster movie as NTR was just beginner in those days…

PANDURANGA is the new title of Bala Krishna’s film being directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Earlier it was named Ranga Panduranga, but later when it went on the floors for shooting the title has been changed to just Panduranga. Attired in the garb of Lord Sri Krishna, Bala krishna gave the first shot for this mythological movie… The film’s shooting began at Ramakrishna Horticultural Studios in Nacharam. K Raghavendra Rao will be directing the film apart from producing it under his banner R K Films Associates. Bala Krishna will play the dual roles of Krishna and Panduranga. SIX leading actresses will enact the roles of wives of Krishna. So the ratio is 1:6. When was the last time you have seen so many heroines opposite a single hero? I remember NTR’s RAJAMAKUTAM and the like… What about you guy/gals?
