MOHAN BABU Completes 32 Years In The Film Industry… RAJNI KANTH Meets Him Personally…
PADMA SHRI Dr. M MOHAN BABU is a Legendary Actor of Telugu Cinema. No matter how much fuss and denial of that over cheap Cine-Politics, there can be no denial in the truth in the fact that he is 509 films old. He has even Produced 48 films. And he is one of the most HIGHLY VERSATILE ACTORS OF ALL-TIME, especially that is of much significance when every cheap star is being labeled as VERSATILE by the cheap media (If only they knew what versatility means…).
So when he completed 32 years in the film industry on November 22nd, Demi-God of Tamil Cinema RAJNI KANTH himself came all the way from Chennai and met his beloved friend Mohan Babu. They met on shooting location of Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures latest film, starring VISHNU in the direction of P VASU at Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Rajni Kanth greeted Mohan Babu, who informed the latter about the film’s development. Rajnikanth also interacted with the members of film unit, who expressed their joy that their meeting is a perfect example of true friendship for over three decades. He also blessed Vishnu on this occasion.
Mohan Babu made his debut with SWARGAM NARAKAM on November 22nd, 1975. Since then he has just risen through a plethora of characters ranging from Villain to Comedian to a Hero. His recent film is YAMADONGA. I can just wish that Legendary Actors like MOHAN BABU and CHIRANJEEVI make more MEANINGFUL and ENTERTAINING movies keeping their age in mind and abstaining from cheap CINE-POLITICS.

Where among the list of Top Indian actors would u rate Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi?
P.S Where do u rate NTR among the current crop of heroes across India like Shahid, Hrithik, Vijay and Ajith?

But, I won’t shy away from giving U an answer. I may or may not lose some of my readers… but I try to speak my mind and propagate my knowledge through extensive research of various film industries across the world, no matter what…
BUT RAMESH… I CONSIDER GENIUS OF AN ACTOR… “RAJENDRA PRASAD” AS A BETTER ACTOR THAN BOTH OF THEM. HIS BEST PERFORMANCES LIST IS VERY LONG AND HENCE I AM GIVING JUST SOME OF THEM… MUTHYAMANTA MUDDU, APRIL 1st VIDUDALA, KASHMORA, ERRA MANDARAM, AA OKKATI ADAKKU, JOKER, MISTER PELLAM, AA NALUGURU
So, here U go!
CHIRANJEEVI is more of an ALL-ROUNDER. He is undoubtedly much BIGGER a STAR than MOHAN BABU. He DANCES, he FIGHTS and he ACTS. He does many things, enacts myriad emotions and does them with such grace that are very hard to find in a single person. His best movies as an ACTOR in my view are:
IDI KATHA KAADU, OORIKI ICHINAMATA, PUNNAMI NAGU, 47 ROJULU, SUBHALEKHA, RUDRAVEENA, SWAYAM KRUSHI, ABHILAASHA, MANTRI GARI VIYYANKUDU, CHALLENGE, CHANTABBAI, ARADHANA, STUARTUPURAM POLICE STATION(TO A CERTAIN EXTENT), AAPADBANDHAVUDU, SNEHAM KOSAM(ELDER ROLE). Well, that’s about it. The list is very short and not so popular among FANS. It is really SAD and also laughable at the same time that his fans don’t even know some of his best movies such as SUBHALEKHA, 47 ROJULU and OORIKICHINAMATA. They are more inclined towards his content less movies which are obviously BLOCKBUSTERS for the same reason.
MOHAN BABU is a PURE PLAY actor. He is one among very few that can be said to belong to the GENIUS of S V RANGA RAO and NTR Sr. I won’t give U his best performances list… because the list would be so long that it would be hard for U to read… Instead, I will give U one name… PEDARAYUDU — that one portrayal of a character that is subdued and aggressive in need, single handedly proves the ability of sheer genius that is Mohan Babu.
Just imagine this… If U give a page length dialogue with or without page breaks and punctuations to both the actors and ask them to enact an appropriate scene… and then… U would find the best actor among them without my help. I hope U are thinking along my lines.
COMING TO NTR… SHAHID, AJITH AND VIJAY ARE NO WHERE COMPARABLE TO THIS LITTLE GENIUS. BUT HRITHIK ROSHAN SCORES HEAVILY IN SOME OTHER AREAS THAT ARE CRUCIAL FOR A STAR LIKE WELL-BUILT BODY, MUCH BETTER DANCES AND INTERNATIONALLY ENVIABLE LOOKS. SO, HRITHIK MIGHT HAVE AN EDGE. BUT, IF U CONSIDER ONLY ACTING POTENTIAL AS A YARDSTICK, THEN NTR IS WAY AHEAD OF HIM.
