CHIRUTHA MOVIE PREVIEW: Well, to start with Chirutha is the most anticipated movie of the year 2007 being the debut movie of Ram Charan. Ram Charan is the son of the leading hero of Telugu cinema, Chiranjeevi. That itself would build up huge expectations among Chiru’s fans and also among the Telugu movie buffs.

But I am not at all impressed with the poster designs and in fact quite disappointed by the mediocre poster design job… But all is not gloom as the debut hero Ram Charan seems extremely expressive in the stills that have been released so far… And the talk of him dancing as good as Allu Arjun if not better also heightens the audience expectations.

Next comes the heroine of the movie Neha Sharma who is neither beautiful (like Trisha…) nor sexy (like Ileana…). As far as expecting a good performance by her in this Pucca Telugu commercial potboiler would be unfair to her… Then comes the music of the the movie… Mani Sharma seems to have mastered the art of giving hits… And Puri Jagannath is the director of the movie and he is fresh from the success of Pokiri and then Desamuduru…

So, the last thing that would be on everyone’s mind is whether CHIRUTHA will ROAR or will just be a PUSSYCAT… when it releases on 28th September, 2007 with an estimated 650 Prints which in itself is a record for a debut movie. I wish the Chirutha team a grand success… —KALCHA
