BABA SEHGAL is gonna sing a song in Telugu after a long long time. Last time he sang for Chiranjeevi in RIKSHAVODU. He sung a popular number Roop Tera Mastana…” in that movie. This time he is gonna croon for Chiru’s brother PAWAN KALYAN in his upcoming movie JALASA.

BABA SEHGAL was very popular in early 90s when he made RAPPING in Hindi fashionable. But he made so by lifting piece by piece from popular English numbers like ICE ICE from Legendary Rock Band QUEEN. Anyway, now he is singing while DEVI SRI PRASAD is composing. Devi is very notorious for lifting other people’s work. So I just wonder if LIFTER+LIFTER = MEGA LIFTER? But, hoping they will dish out something fresh out of the oven.

VISAKHA EXPRESS is VARA MULLAPUDIs 2nd film. The Audio of the movie was launched at a function organized in PRASAD LABS on 17th November, 2007. CHANDRA SEKHAR YELETI provides the Screenplay. S S RAJA MOULI Presents the film. ALLARI NARESH and RAJEEV KANAKALA are the main leads of the movie. The audio function was graced by Director K RAGHAVENDRA RAO, Actor NTR, Actor VISHNU, Producer DIL RAJU and others. NTR and K Raghavendra Rao bought the 1st Audio Cassette and 1st Audio CD respectively.

S S RAJA MOULI said, “Vara narrated me the story long back. I wanted to direct this film. But I ended up as the presenter of this film. I feel that this film is going to be a trend-setter.”
ALLARI NARESH said that this film is an experimental film with good commercial values.
VISHNU said that he got the offer first and he missed playing a character in this film.
NTR said that he liked that story and expressed confidence that this film would be encouraged by the Telugu audiences.

Currently, he is directing a movie called SANGAMAM with new comers SINDHURA GADDE (Former Miss India World who is also a Telugu NRI girl) and ROHIT in the lead. The Audio of the movie was launched in a function organized at DURGAM CHERUVU. Actor MURALI MOHAN, Writer/Director TRIVIKRAM SRINIVAS, Director RAJA MOULI, Director K RAGHAVENDRA RAO along with others graced the Audio launch function. Murali Mohan released the Audio. Anchor SUMA hosted a fun Antakshari program with the guests. VEL RECORDS bought the Audio Rights.

Lyricist ANANTA SREERAM said, “It feels good when Keeravani composed tune for a song I penned in my college days. He also rendered that song. I feel fortunate to write all six lyrics in this album.”

Music Director KEERAVANI said, “I composed music for Gavara Pardha Sarathi’s Mr. PELLAM. I also composed music for Rasool’s directorial debut Okarikokaru. Both these films were appreciated a lot for the music. The songs composed for these two people in this film too are very good. Vel Records is taking good care of packing this album well by getting neat and beautiful designs.”

ALI is trying his hand at leading a movie again with Tinnama Padukunnama Tellarinda (TPT). He is being paired with a new comer JYOTHI KRISHNA. The Audio of TPT was launched in PRASAD LABS, Hyderabad. Actor NTR, Producer RAMA NAIDU, Director S V KRISHNA REDDY, Singer/Composer M M SRI LEKHA along with some politicians and TPT Unit Members were present at the Audio Launch function.

Rama Naidu released the Audio Cassette and handed over to NTR and also to other guests on the stage. He praised ALI for his sincerity and dedication in work. The TPT Unit Members thanked the guests for attending the Audio function and also thanked fellow members in TPT Unit for their help and dedication. NTR and other guests wished Tinnama Padukunnama Tellarinda film unit a Grand Success.

THE AUDIO OF TPT is being marketed by ADITYA MUSIC COMPANY.

BAPUs unflinching thirst to find BAPU BOMMA in every generation of girls is currently focussed on CHARMEE. In fact, as you all might already know that the movie is named as SUNDARAKANDA. It completed its last schedule of shooting and is getting ready for the Post Production work. The makers of this movie informed the media that the audio of SUNDARAKANDA will be released on 20th November. ALLARI NARESH is playing the male lead. APARNA K is producing this movie on CHAITRA CINEMA CIRCUIT Banner. And SUNDARAKANDA is probably going to come for the litmus test before us in the middle of the next month.

OKKA MAGADU is the biggest release slated for early next year. The film obviously stars one of the MASTERS of MASSES, BALA KRISHNA. But, the USP of the movie is its director YVS CHOWDARY. Though cannot be termed as creative in any sense, YVS has a master touch on masses and seems to strike right every time he ventures to sense the audience pulse. So, when he is teaming up with Bala Krishna for the first time, a lot of curiosity is evident in the industry circles and also among the general audiences with regard to the Box-Office.

OKKA MAGADUs audio is most probably slated for release on 8th December. There are 7 songs in the movie. the music is scored by MANI SHARMA. With Bala Krishna, YVS Chowdary and Mani Sharma, this is really one HUGE MASSY combination. The satellite rights of the film have already been bagged by YET-TO-BE-LAUNCHED “D” Channel of Union Minister Dasari Narayana Rao for a whopping Rs. 2.25 Crore.

PAWAN KALYAN launched the audio of VIKRAM and TRISHA starer Bi-lingual BHEEMA being directed by LINGU SWAMY. Audio launch function was organized at Screen 2 of Prasads Multiplex in the evening of 29th October.

Speaking on the occasion, presenter A M Ratnam said, “Its been one year since we launched this film. I would like to thank Vikram for his sincere support. He built body and made changes to hair for this film. Lingu Swamy did well. The songs of the film came out really well. DEVI SRI PRASAD joins the chorus demanding one crore rupees as remuneration after Ileana and Trisha stunned the film industry… with their demands… These demands by Devi are said to have startled many producers like M S Raju… So, what is the next logical thing that they do? It is being rumoured that they are temporarily keeping away from him… so that hopefully, Devi would change his mind.

ATHIDHI, Mahesh Babu’s much anticipated release this year is doing extremely well in the music market. The Athidhi music composed by hit maker Mani Sharma was released recently by Supreme Music. It is being reported that the music rights for the movie were acquired by Supreme Music at an astonishing Rs. 75 Lakhs. To put the matters into perspective, the music rights of Venkatesh starrer THULASI were acquired by Aditya Music for Rs. 45 Lakhs.

Athidhi is due to release on 18, October, 2007 with 300 Prints.

Athidhi is one of the most awaited movies of Tollywood in the second half of the year. It is not yet confirmed officially but the grapevine is that Mahesh Babu and Amrita Rao starrer Athidhi’s audio might be launched on 16th or 17th of September. The music is composed by Mani Sharma. It is a well known fact that somehow Mani Sharma always reserves his best score for Mahesh Babu… I hope you all remember Okkadu, Athadu and Pokiri… Producer Ramesh Babu is planning the Audio launch in a grand fashion. As for the movie’s shooting progress is concerned, some patch work of action sequences is being filmed at Shankarapalli village in Hyderabad and also an item song will be shot over the next week.
