Viyyalavari Kayyalu Release Date Postponed Again To 1st November…

Monday, October 8th, 2007

VIYYALAVARI KAYYALU is likely to be released on 1st of November. If you are wondering about the cast, it has yesteryear dream boy UDAY KIRAN, NEHA JULKA and SRI HARI. Actually, it was scheduled to be released along with CHIRUTHA at the end of September. But due to some OBVIOUS reasons (You know what I mean…), it was postponed to 12th of October.

But then as two big releases Venkatesh starer THULASI and Mahesh Babu starer ATHIDHI are lined up in October, Viyyalavari Kayyalu is now postponed to 1st of November. Now the poor chap Lagadapati Sreedhar (Producer) has to bear the losses that accrue due to the delay and also there is an ample risk with the Current Release Date as it is an off-season for Telugu movies.

NEHA JULKA, Impresses As A Linguist, Rather Than As A Beauty…

Saturday, May 19th, 2007

NEHA JULKA made her Tollywood debut with OKKADUNNADU. She failed to impress Telugu audiences with her beauty. But where she faltered, she is making up with her linguistic skills… Yeah! Some of us might get attracted if the girl has brains rather than just beauty and light in the head department. Neha Julka says, “I love poetry. There’s rhythm in every language. If you can understand that rhythm, then you can catch words from even alien languages. In spite of not knowing a language, one can make out the meaning. That way I have learnt so many words. When I use them in my conversations, it surprises my friends.”

KALCHAs OKKADUNNADU Box-Office Prediction…

Okkadunnadu is a bold theme experimented in the action cum thriller genre by Chandra Shekhar Yeleti. If given a lavish budget, this director can churn out some great action cum thriller flicks. That doesn’t mean Okkadunnadu is flawless. In fact it has too many flaws restricting it to be an average flick.

IN A NUTSHELL: Openings will be good as Gopichand is a mass crowd puller. But as soon as the mass crowds discover that this is indeed a class movie, they would start brandishing it as a flop. But the A center audience would patronise the slick flick to a certain extent making it commercially safe in the end. So in the end it will be an AVERAGE grosser.
